The Phenomenon Called Sachin Tendulkar, Sachin Tendulkar- The Geneus

At the age of 37 and after 20 years of international cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is doing the justice to his immense talent. In 2010, Sachin is in tremendous form. It seems that he is actually enjoying his cricket without any sort of pressure and it is clearly evident from his batting. In last three months, he has scored 5 test centuries and 3 one-day international tons. That includes the astonishing 175 againgt Australia in Hyderabad and two back to back tons againgt South Africa as well. In fact, he has scored 4 centuries in last 4 tests, one of the rare achievements. He has to tolerate lots of critisism in his career for not delivering at the crunch situations. He scored 136 against Pakistan in Chenni in 1999 and India still lost by 12 runs. His 175 against Australia cannot made India win also. But he scored 103* against England in Mohali in 2008 and made sure that India comes winner. His partnership with Virendar Sehwag in Eden Garden in second test against South Africa is hard to forget also. But on 24th february,2010 at Gwalior he crossed all barriers of imaginations by scoring 200* against South Africa. He is the first ever batsman to score a double century in one day cricket and thus added another feather to his crown. Only one thing eludes him in his delightful career and that is the world cup title. All the Indians are praying that he can achieve this landmark also!

Team India Retained The No. One Position inTest Cricket

Team India Retained the No. one position in test cricket by beating South Africa in the second test of the test series played at Eden Garden. It was a really remarkable performance by Team India for many a reasons:

* In the first test at Nagpur, India was totally outplayed by South Africa and beaten comprehensively. It showed a lot of character to bounce back.

* Team India was without the service of 'The Wall'- Rahul Dravid and Yubraj Singh because of injury.

* If India looses the test series, it would not able to retain the no.1 position in test cricket.

* India will loose $ 100,000 as the team with the no.1 ranking will get $ 175,000 from ICC, whereas the second ranked team will get $75000 only.

* Indian batting looked vulnerable before the mighty South African pace attack.

* Indian Spin-duo Harbhajan and Amit Mishra looked out of sorts.

* There was a lot of controversy and speculation over the Eden Pitch, whether it would be grassy or without grass.

* The weather at Kolkata was not favourable except the fifth and final day( due to bad light and rain).

* India was without the service of their ace pacer Zaheer Khan in the South African second innings.
In spite of all the odds, Team India still managed to win riding on the batting heroics of Sehwag, Sachin, Laxman and Dhoni; not to mention the bowling feats of Harbhajan and Mishra. Congratulations Team India!

Coal Storage in India are Decreasing- What is Our Future

Its time to face the reality. We are still planning to set newer thermal power stations. Life span of a thermal power station is 25 yrs. And after remodeling, it works for another 15 yrs. So the power station that will start working from 2010, its life span will be ended by 2050. But what will happen, if coal storage is finished before that? According to a estimate of planning commission, coal storage will end in another 45 yrs. And to import coal is very costly thing and financially impossible. Most of the people thinks that those days are very remote, and we have a storage of about 200 yrs. But the reality is not that bright. Now coal mines are situated in 1470 sq. km area, 15% of this land is occupied by forest and habitation. So it will be difficult to extract all the stored coal. So we have to look for the alternate source of energy.Solar electricity and nuclear electricity is our future, and it will be best if we accept this reality as soon as possible!

Aishwarya Rai- The Beauty Icon; Aishwarya Rai- is She The Last Word of Beauty

Aishwarya Rai- The last word of beauty

Katrina Kaif- The perfect beauty

Aishwarya Rai- how can anyone on earth be so much beautiful! Its a pity that she lost the Miss India contest to Sushmita Sen who eventually became Miss Universe in 1994. Eminent writer Shove De said blinds can't percept beauty and rightly so.Later in 1995 she became Miss World but that was nothing but a consoation prize. Earlier in her career, she was critized for not having enough appeal and she looked a school girl in a mini-skirt. But she swept all the critisism first in the song 'Kajra Re' in the film Bunty and Bubly and later in Dhoom 2, where she looked stunning in short revealing dresses. For long 6-7 years, she had no competition in Bollywood in terms of beauty .But along came Katrina Kaif, another ravishing as well as stunning beauty in Bollywood. Who is more beautiful between the two? Almost impossible to tell. But we love to see them together in a film out-shining each other. Will that be ever possible!
