Greatest Sportsperson of India In Recent Times, Greast Sportsperson of India in Last Decade



Sachin Tendulkar: Does this man need any introduction? The highest run scorer in Test and One Day cricket, the highest century maker both in Test and One Day Matches too. He belongs to a class of his own.



Leander Peas: At 37, he is still going strong. This ever young tennis player from Kolkata has won 11 Grand Slum Title in doubles and mixed doubles. He has an excellent record for India in Davis Cup also.



Saina Nehawal: This teenager from Hyderabad is within the top ten ranking of world female badminton. She has won several tournaments to her credit.



Abhinav Bindra: The ace shooter from Delhi won the gold medal in 2008 Beijing Oympics. It was the only gold won by any Indian in olympics in individual sports.



Viswanathan Anand: Needs no introduction again. Several time world champion from India is considered one of the all time greats in world chess.along with Bobby Fisher and Gary Kasparov..



Vijender Singh: This handsome boxer has won the bronze medal in 2008 Beijing Olympics and in 2009 World Championship in Milan. Later he achieved no 1 ranking of International Boxing Association in middle weight boxing.



Pankaj Advani: The youngest Indian to become a world professional champion has seven world billiards and snooker title to his credit.
