Emran Hasmi is a hit machine. He has delevered so many hits that is beyond reach of many of his more fancied or over-rated opponents. He became well known after the film Murder which was a smash hit. After that, he has delevered hits like Aashique Banaya Apne, Gangstar, Kalyug, Jannat and Raaz 2. His latest film Tum Mile may not be that successful in the box office but it has got critical acclaim. With so many hits to his credit, he could easily be a superstar, but he never comes into comparison with heros like Shahid or Ranbir Kapoors.
What might be the cause of such discrepancy:
* He is not the son/nephew of any big gun of Bollywood.
* He dosen't got a godfather.
* He maintains a relatively low profile.
* He dosen't get a chance in big productions of bollywood( like Dharma or Yash-raj), neither he is being casted against big heroines.
Against all odds, Emran Hasmi is going strong. He has got some fame for completely wrong reason( The Serial Kisser). We hope he will get his recognition in due time.
