Barbie doll was invented by Ruth Handler in 1959. One day, she found her daughter Barbara playing with a paper doll and got the idea of making a unique dall. The rest is history. Barbie, originally intended to be a teen age fashion doll, was launched in American Toy Fair. There was some controversy because if barbie were a human being, her figure would be an impossible 36-18-38. It is said that to barbie dolls are sold in every minute any where in the world.
There were many famous celebreties over the years, whose face had been used as models of barbie doll. Recently, Aishwarya Rai, the former Miss World and actor got this offer. The latest name, that is included in the list is Katrina Kaif. Surely barbie will look more pretty being presented in those lovely faces !!!
